Dear Krishnan,

I meant Buy put at R1. Every week R1 & S1 will change so, as your buy levels. Maintain stop loss and have a target in mind always when you trade.

Those who had bought the put at R1 might have made good profits today so they could book profit. The calls at S1 might have triggered SL so might have taken exit call.

Dear Mr.Ghosh
Pls explaine what could be the maximam loss of buying call and
put simulatenously as you mentioned. for any given strik rate.

also give me the maximum loss of the below position.

As of today closing
Selling a Call @6200 for Rs.8/-
Selling a Put @6200 for Rs.1036/-
Pls let me know the maximum loss of the above position.

Dear Mr. gosh,

One fellow confusing me in icici direct...plz. let me know i have purchased 2 lots of nifty PUT options for 11750 and earned a profit of 8250 ( - brokerage + taxes)...the amount credited to my account was only 8250. When i asked those people "where is my invested money Rs.11750?. they said, only profits will be credited to my account....

..is that so? reply me plz.

Bought Nifty-31Jan-5300PE@75 and sold for Nifty-31Jan-5300PE@150

Bought Nifty-31jan-5250PE@160 and sold for Nifty-31jan-5250@250.

Dear Nandu,

Please check your a/c statement and re calculate the transaction. Ask icicidirect the method used by them to calculate the transaction. They might not have deducted the initial investment amount.

wat u recommend. expiry is very near?

Hi Ghosh,

Thanks for your reply and timely advice. I was able to seee it in a reasonable profit of 15 rs on next day itself. Can you please let me know wht are u expecting on nifty, is it better to take calls or puts for monday.
