Nifty Put 5500 at 29 Rs 300 Quantity

What should be the target for these options?
When should i sqr off my position?
I have 30% SL capacity.
Can somebody help me regarding this??
Dear Prashant,

For Reliance maintain your SL stricty with a target of 150. Exit Nifty Put 5500. Although I could not see any clear trend for Nifty, but I do not see nifty to go below 5500 levels this month.

Default Derivatives Lot Sizes

The new derivative Lot sizes are effective from Jan series(some are effective March). May be this should bring some liquidity into Options trading now. Though the underlying prices have appreciated considerably in the last few months , some of the options like essaroil, mrpl, gmr, ttml were difficult to enter for small traders due to bigger lot sizes, may be this should change the scenario atleast now and hopefully we should see some liquidity in the options.

Dear Anuj,

With Reliance 2900 CA maintain 80 as SL. Look for target 150 - 160. And above that hold with trailing profit as 160.

Does anyone know why NIFTY options are European while Stock options traded on NIFTY are American?

Dear Friend,

ISPAT is having resistence around 82.And you have bought near that, hold it with a SL as 65. If it crosses 85 with good volumes then T1 = 90 and T2 =100.
