can you please explian what is option excersise.......... why there is something call option excersise....... can i use this to make profits........????

i haver infosys call option 2220 bought at price of 8 rupees...... now the spot price is approx 1860.....

if i excersise now what will happen........ if i am confusing yuou........please explain with your own example.........
