Hi neo,
Though I have not tried these options - you can log a complaint with SEBI on their site at

http://www.sebi.gov.in/Index.jsp?con...&sub_sec_id=38

http://www.sebi.gov.in/Complaint7.jsp
http://www.sebi.gov.in/Complaint10.jsp

Unfortunately, the URL does not support feature to upload a file else you could have send a snapshot of your trading statement

Before complaining, you should transfer all your stocks + cash to a new broker.. You never know - they may withhold your transfer with some reasons like signature mismatch or so.

Thanks wcnw,
These links would be very helpful..

Meanwhile I already have applied for Reliance money account.. And As of now I have stopped using the kotak account.. As Swagat said, Darwin's Law of nature prevails, "Survival of the Fittest". And Surely Kotak is not fittest.

Asish. i also have got the cicular through their rm.

there will be 2.5% or Rs100 whichever is higher.
so, for any option trade through them will attract a
minimum brokerage of rs 100.

swagat,
it is only brokerage on one leg, others charges are extra.

btw, i just got an e-mail frm icicidirect, they also have
changed brokerage on options.
it will be calculated as 1% or Rs 100 whichever is
higher on each leg, stt & taxes extra.

swagat,
i am also very keen on the matter, but there is lack of transparency in the fact that stt calculation logically should be based on premium.
Expecting some circular on this regard or
someone please call them for clarification.

Dont know, when the babus will wake-up to our call!
Rajib.
