Hi all experts,
I have a doubt.
Suppose volume = 8 lacs and OI change = 2 lacs. It means that of 8 lacs, 2 lacs has gone in OI change (net new options written) and the rest is inter party sale of existing options.
But what if volume is 2 lacs and OI change is 8 lacs? I have observed that OI change can be greater than volume. How is that possible? Any explanation would be highly appreciated
