Need advice on MF Portfolio

Hi Friends,

I am new to Mutual Funds, and after reading some forum and article, here is the MF portfolio I have designed, please give your thoughts and suggestions.

1) ICICI Pru Focused Bluechip equity (Large Cap) - 20%
2) ICICI Prudential Balanced Fund (Balanced) - 20%
3) HDFC Balanced (Balanced) - 20%
4) HDFC Midcap (Mid Cap) - 20%
5) ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund (Diversified) - 20%

My considerations and requirements:
1) I am planning to invest Rs. 4,000 in each
2) I am looking for a conservative portfolio for 5 to 7 years

ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund is good actually!
I would like to suggest what I believe in terms of long term investing. You are looking at the time horizon of 5-7years standing today at 2015. Down the line there might be other funds topping these ones! Are you flexible enough to adjust your funding?

It's better to fix your horizon at 3 years max.. watch and then carefully extend or stop!
