HDFC Mutual Fund launches RGESS

HDFC Mutual Fund has launched a new fund offer (NFO) for HDFC Rajiv Gandhi Equity Savings Scheme — Series 2. The NFO closes for subscription on February 24. The investment objective of this closed-ended growth scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation from a portfolio of eligible securities as specified in the RGESS.

Canara Bank ties up with Apollo Munich

Canara Bank has tied up with Apollo Munich Health Insurance to offer health cover to those bank customers who are afflicted with diabetes or hypertension. The policy, called Energy, combines health insurance, wellness and counselling, and will be offered across eight cities in the country. Canara Bank customers who buy Energy will have access to the network of Apollo Munich’s hospitals and clinics for pre-policy check-up, wellness tests and treatment.

Motilal Oswal AMC’s Focused Midcap 30

Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company has launched a closed-ended fund called MOSt Focused Midcap 30 Fund. The subscription to the NFO ends on February 17. The minimum investment amount during the NFO is R5,000, and in multiples of R1 thereafter. The investment objective of the fund is to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing in a maximum of 30 quality mid-cap companies having long-term, sustainable competitive advantages and potential for growth.

HSBC MF launches dividend yield fund

HSBC Global Asset Management, India, has launched the HSBC Asia Pacific (Ex-Japan) Dividend Yield Fund, an open-ended fund-of-funds scheme that will invest in HSBC GIF Asia Pacific (Ex Japan) Equity High Dividend Fund. The subscription to the fund closes on February 17. The minimum investment amount is R10,000 and can be done through a systematic investment plan as well.

ICICI Pru Tax Plan declares dividend

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has declared dividend under the dividend option of ICICI Prudential Tax Plan — Regular Plan. The dividend will be R2 per unit on the face value of R10 per unit.

Kotak 50 Non-Direct announces dividend

Kotak Mutual Fund has announced dividend under the dividend option of Kotak 50 — Non-Direct Plan. The quantum of dividend will be R1 per unit on the face value of R10 per unit.

Tata balanced fundeclares dividend

Tata Mutual Fund has announced dividend of 20 paise on the face value of R10 per unit under the monthly dividend option under Plan A and direct plan of Tata balanced fund. The record date for the declaration of dividend is February 5.
