PPF Accounts - Personal + Wife + Kids
Index based MF with Growth option (no sectoral funds or thematic funds)
Equity investment in Nifty stocks whenever market crashes! For eg, Nifty @ 5200 then 4800 then 4500 etc. We may see these numbers!

Do not buy any retirement plans! Work on your own plan!!

Yes, but it PAYS!!

1) PPF - a conservative approach! Secured investment to get 8-10% or even more when market moves up favorably (Govt decision). Do not worry about inflation rate. You need part of your retirement money to be safe - at least!

2) MF - Medium risk - As we increased the risk, the returns we expect 15-20%.

3) Equity - High risk - Again as the risk is increased, the returns we expect 20-30%.

Combination of these three investments makes a reasonable retirement plan according to me!

As of now no retirement plan (or for that matter any plan) is in the interest of investor.

Not much knowledge is required. If we don't want to spend time and attention on our own money then it is a pity situation.

According to my knowledge, everyone become old after certain time of period, and that time he/she require money for medicine or any other thing. Investing in retirement plan makes your life more better. Different companies provide different age to start retirement plan.
