#1
Hello All...

joined today in this great forum and thanks to you all for great contributions...

i need advice on my mutual fund allocation..

i have SIP of 10000 in these three funds and i am going to start another 10000 SIP.

I have SIP in these three funds.:
IDFC Imperial Equity -- 3000
IDFC Premier Equity -- 3000
HDFC Equity -- 4000

And for another 10000 i am confused between these four funds...need your help in allocating these 10 k.I did some home work and found these top rated funds.

1) Canara Robeco Eqt Diversified-G
2) DSPBR Top 100 Eqt Reg-G
3) Birla SL Dividend Yield (G)
4) Birla Sun Life MNC Fund (G)

All funds will be for long term 5Yrs minimum.

Thanks all in advance.

BSL Dividend Yield has underperformed over the last 1 year, coincidentally over the same time period when the manager of the fund was replaced. So I would wait and watch before investing in that one. BSL MNC fund too has a pretty small universe so I would suggest staying away from it too.

Not sure about Canara Robeco, but DSP BR Top 100 is a very good fund and has a consistent track record. I would recommend investing there.

Perhaps you could hunt for one more fund to add to the list or distribute your Rs 10,000 p.m. amongst your existing funds and DSB BR Top 100.
