SIP redemption

Hi

I have a query which may be silly. I invested in MF through SIP. I paid for the first year , after that i was not able to continue. What will be the redemption process once i complete the lock-in period of 3 years. Can I redeem all the units.

since you mentioned 3 year lock-in , I am assuming that you've saved in a ELSS mutual fund.

Each SIP nothing but "one time " investment done at a regular interval. So, each SIP will be locked in for 3 years from purchase date.
Ex.
1st SIP purchase 1-jan-2008 - lockin release on 1-jan-2011.
2nd SIP 2-feb-2008 lockin release on 2-feb-2011.
so on and so forth....

if your Sip is in 3 years Lock in period... than after 3years you can redeem all your units...
