MF Advice needed

#1
Hi,

I am new to investing and would like some advice on my choice of MF investments.

I am 22 years old and thereby, looking to invest in MF investments only, atleast for the next 3-4 years.

My current SIP portfolio:

HDFC Top 200(G) - Rs.1000
DSPBR Top 100(G) - Rs.1000
Kotak 50(G) - Rs.1000
HDFC Midcap Opportunities(G) - Rs.1000
ICICI Prudential - FMCG - Rs.1000

Hope to hear from you soon! :)

Thanks a lot...

I would suggest
HDFC Top 200(G) - Rs.3000 (the other two have same portfolios and performance-wise this one is better)
HDFC Midcap Opportunities(G) - Rs.1000
ICICI Prudential - FMCG - Rs.1000

Or Since you are 22, you can increase your exposure to midcaps
HDFC Top 200(G) - Rs.2500
HDFC Midcap Opportunities(G) - Rs.1500
ICICI Prudential - FMCG - Rs.1000

Hi Sandeep,

I would recommend that you can consider the following portfolio with the same investment amount

HDFC Top 200 - 2000
DSPBR Top 100 - 2000
HDFC Mid-cap Opportunities Fund - 1000

I would recommend researching on Kotak 50 more (I wasn't impressed by numbers...) and as a rule of thumb.. I avoid any sectoral funds especially when market is swinging like a pendulum..

Happy Investing !!
