SIP initial invst date & SIP date

Hi all,

I am new to mutual fund invst. concept...
Could you please let me know whats the difference between SIP
initial investment date & SIP date? As far as my analysis is concerned,
I do think (from account statement) SIP purchase date may be the
initial investment date & SIP date possibly could be the next installment
date (monthly frequency). Please correct me if I am wrong..

Actually I came across these terms in moneycontrol.com, where I was
trying to keep all my SIP investments in a watchlist....

Apart from moneycontrol.com, is there any better site available where we can maintain MF/Equity watchlist or other investment information?

Hi,
sip initial inv date is your first installment date.
sip date is the future payment dates. moneycontrol is ok. money control automatically calculates your investments/nav etc.
