I want to reduce my MF holding please Help

#1
I am holding following funds in account. Now trim my portfolio in to only 5 Funds. Please suggest me best possible option without churning too much schemes:-
My portfolio at present is ( All growth equity funds)
1. HDFC Top-200
2. DSPBR Top-100
3. Birla Sunlife Frontline Eq.
4. Birla Sunlife Midcap
5. Sundaram SMILE Fund
6. ICICI Pru Dymamic Fund
7. Reliance Regular Saving Eq.

Out of above I have to leave HDFC Top-200 compulsorily as my online account with sbi dose not permit to trade in HDFC Fund house. I am unhappy with the performance of Sundaram SMILE Fund and Birla Sunlife Midcap. Is it advisible to give some more time or just consolidate these two in to one Good Mid Cap fund.
Please suggest me.

Hi,

I would agree with all the previous comments. 1,2,3 & 7 shouldn't be touched. HDFC Top 200 is one of the best funds around and you shouldn't exit.

Coming to your question on Midcap, BSL Midcap is good, but a better option may be BSL Dividend Yield Plus which will give Mid & Small cap flavor to you. There is another option in IDFC Premier Equity Fund, which has reopened subscriptions y'day.

Happy Investing !!
