HDFC Infrastructure Fund - what happens after maturity period

Dear Financial Gurus,

I had some investmentin HDFC Infrastructure Fund at the NFO stage. It is a close ended fund which is due to mature on 10.3.11. Its performance is below my expectations. So I do not want to continue. I do not know what options I had indicated at the time of applying for the funds. Can somebody let me know the procedure as to how to proceed to either redeem the funds or switch to some other fund?

It will become open ended which means you can switch out to another HDFc Fund like Top 200 or HDFC Equity.

I have yet another close ended investment in ICICI Prudential Fusion Series III which will mature on 15.3. I had indicated switch in option for that which will go in ICICI Prudential Fusion Series II [which now is Equity Opportunity Fund].

However I do not want to send the money in that option any more since the proformance of the new scheme is not good. Instead i want to redeem the amount. Can somebody please let me know if ICICI MF switch the proceeds to Equity Opportunity - will it be treated fresh investment for calculating capital gain?
