Do you think taking help from portfolio management agencies is beneficial (for mutual funds)? I sometimes feel that though I am getting good response from experienced people in this forum, when it comes to details of my portfolio, I have problem, what amount of money to invest in which fund, when to stop and switch over to some other funds etc. Since investment by funds change a lot over time, keeping track of all the details is cumbersome. Getting such advice from professionals may be useful for people like me who do not have much time to spend for such delicate analysis. Can you suggest any such portfolio management agencies? How useful are the ones provided free like valueresearch etc?

IMO, you don't need it if you get the basics right. Debt/Equity ratio, Asset Allocation and investment in a few good rated funds that you can review once a year.

No not at all. Dont go for portfolio service. It looks difficult at the beginning. but if u spend time regularly for few months in this forum as well as in other sites like value research online u understand the basic ideas. then u can build ur own portfolio according to ur goal.
after that u dont need to see the portfolio frequently . May be once in 2-3 months is enough.... Whichever may be ur profession u can do without much difficulty

Dont go to portfolio management agencies. Do your own research online and then start investing, track it, learn more about MF online. You are only the best person to decide how to achieve your finanical goal.
