Well I was thinking is there any benefit from trading mutual funds(actively managed).:D
I was thinking on the lines that when the stock market is high nobody will be able to sell their stocks(because nobody would buy) but we can sell mutual funds!
And similarly when the stock market is low.

Isn't that why IDFC PEF which allows only SIP entry is a top performer?

Not asking this seriously are you? Its an auction - if there are no buyers, what is the reason for price to stay there?

Well Milind, suppose you have an ETF E. Are you able to sell E on any day at the 'Sensex' price? The correlation between some mutual fund NAVs and Sensex is very high.
