As per the Direct Tax code ELSS will be taxed at the time of with drawing money in future. But the exising investiment can have tax benifits. So what is your suggession for this current year 2010 before DTC.
Do you suggest not to invest this year also as ELSS funds will go down in future as most of them will not show interest on that funds also many of them may take money because of many reasons?
Or
Do you suggest to continue investing in ELSS (For tax benefit + investment in market) till DTC is implemented?
Last year I invested in HDFC ELSS funds and found that useful for tax+investiments but this year I am in confusion to invest in ELSS or should I go for alternates?
