Exit load applicable when STP?

Guys,

Is there an Exit Load applicable when your do a STP to the same AMC's different plan? I am still in the <1yr period when the 1% exit load would apply.
I believe I would have to pay it , but please clarify.

Yes, normal exit load is applicable for the sell transaction for the "from" fund.

Yes ... You have to pay the exit load as per your subscribed fund, no concession for STP
Hence, when STP is in your mind always first buy a short-term/liquid fund and then do STP to equity funds.

In Reliance if u go from Reliance Medium term fund to any other fund there is no exit load
