Hi, I want to start my own fund preferrably Index. Anyone knows about the requirement for that I mean do I need to have a company or should have personal assets of more than a crore or something like that.
Can I start it for small number of people before making i public?
Suggestions are eagerly waited.

yes I think you need to register your company and asset size before SEBI allows you to start your own funs

I am not sure ordinary person with his salary can successful do this job.

You need a huge amount to start up even.

Happy investing

For small scale operation what you can do probably is to register a financial firm. Get licenses for brokerage / sub-brokerage and portfolio management (I doo not know exact licences required or procedures).

You can then offer private portfolio management services (PMS) in for of Index investment.
