How to track IDFC Premier Equity ?

I and others(saw in different threads) want to invest in "IDFC Premier Equity ". But this fund seldom opens, rather I am not sure when it opened last and when it would open in future.

I am desperate to start SIP in it.(but require initial investment first).

No Hamir, You do not need an initial investment to start SIP in IDFC Premier Equity. I myself have SIP running in it for past few months. Only limitation is that SIP amount should be in multiples of 2000.

Really ..Never knew that.. I always thought that first you have to do initial minimum investment and then only you can start an SIP.

Then, why they say initial investment in MF document?
