Axis Equity Fund MF

Hi!

Axis Equity fund is a new fund and it is launched in last year in December 09.

Could anyone kindly elaborate on it if it is good buy and keep in portfolio for long term view.

I understand that axis bank is doing fine. Now sure about its subsidiary mutual fund..

It would be too early to draw any conclusions about fund performance in such a short period. Usually NFO's deploy their collected money in initial 6 to 9 months. Axis equity must still be in that process. Usually Fund performance can be judged after 2-3 years from its launch. It takes more than that period for fund to go through bearish & bullish phases of market.
