Yes bro u can buy through ur broker but dont forget to confirm tha what is charge ur bro would charge as transaction fee as per I know they are charging sub broker 15Rs per transaction for cust I dont know
If you want to buy online only w/o broker then u can go to AMC website and buy online but here too within week you have to mail them downloaded form with copy of self attested pancard copy:thumb:

now a days mutual funds are also being traded in NSE. like any other shares they can also be bought thro' brokers or on-line

Cheapest way is to trade directly with AMCs - you don't need stock brokers, or any other middle men. Open folios with your favorite AMCs which have online accesses - Reliance, HDFC, Kotak, Sundaram, Franklin and many more do provide it. This needs to be done with conventional paper application at AMCs office (or CAMs for funds serviced by CAMs), provide bank information on the form, copy of PAN and KYC ack. Fill in PIN agreement. Once you receive your PIN, you are set.
