Default Need advice on Mutual funds selection

Hi,

Here are the list funds that I have selected.

3. HDFC Equity

Mid cap
--------
4. ICICI Pru Discovery Fund (G)
5. Sundaram BNP Paribas S.M.I.L.E. Reg-G

I agree with you adding gold ETF in my portfolio.

Default

hey jayraj, i think that investing in mutual funds is a safe option, and it gives high returns and beneficial to your family. For this UTI mutual funds is safer, as it is the leading company in India with 1 crore+ investors. By the way, I like your decision to invest in mutual funds. It is anytime safer than investing in the stock market.

Investing is always a good option not only for savings but also for other purpose, I suggest you to invest in mutual funds which gives you facilities like tax savings, transparency, diversification etc. In mutual company for the last two years UTI mutual fund is the best one for investing money

I agree with both Dilipkhan and chotachetan that UTI mutual funds offers the best returns in India today, thats why it has crossed 1 crore investors the first mutual fund company to do so.
