Your choice of five funds is good - they are all well performing funds with good history. But why 5 large cap funds ? I would have chosen 2 large cap and 2 mid/multi cap funds. In the latter category - DSPBR Equity, HDFC Equity, Reliance Growth are some of the possibilities. If you want to stick to large cap category, no need to overdiversify, 2 funds should be sufficient. Don't know much about Sundaram.

As far as Rs 5000/- SIP is planned 3 Equity Diversified Funds & 1 ELSS is enough. my choice will be
HDFC Top 200

Reliance Growth

Sundaram Tax Saver

Thank u very much for your suggestion. Actually I am planning for Rs7000/- out of which Rs 2000/- is for ELSS purpose. For Rs 5000/- you want me to invest in 3 funds and the ELSS should be in one no. fund ie Sundaram BNPP tax saver. Please clarify the same as I am new to this field.
Thanka in advance.
