Recently i was approached by an investment advisor to invest in Kotak smart advantage plan. Looking at the past record of this plan, it performed really well with the ups & downs of stock market so much so that when market dipped by around 50%, it dipped hardly by 1-2%. However when the market prospered by around 50%, it too prospered by around 35%. I seem to be convinced that this plan won't result in loss.
But one thing that concerns me is that currently when the stock market is around 15000 it's NAV is around 15, so looking at a horizon of say at least 5 years, what would be suggested, should i go with this plan or not?
