Entry Load on ELSS

#1
Hi all,

This is the first time I am investing my savings in ELSS schemes to save taxes.

I invested in 2 funds with the help of my local bank manager last week and ofcourse my bank had made me aware that there will be an entry load of 2.25% on my investments if I go through them. I was OK with that because I did not know the process.

Now I want to get more disciplined in my saving/investing and go the SIP route and invest in the same funds. My existing folios indicate the broker code etc and other details, will I still be charged entry load if I go directly?

Thanks

Next time you invest, fill up new application form and write direct on your application. If you use any application containing the ids of your agent, then cut it, write direct and countersign.
