Hellow friends,

we are looking for an expert to answer the above question -
Does it relate to sebi rules or NSE/bse by laws ?

There is no such sub-broker for mutual funds, as far as I know. If you have got AMFI then you can work for any mutual fund. Yes it is dictated by SEBI norms. It is a good thing to consult a mutual fund agency in your location regarding this.

Good Luck

as far as appointing sub-brokers is concerned the mf houses are no where concerned. it is an entirely internal matter of the ARN holder. as an ARN holder any individual may empanel himself with any fund house. thereafter if he does business through n no. of sub-brokers, it is the decision of the ARN holder.

& cool_jocky to answer your query regarding corporate ARN, you need to apply to AMFI & they will transfer your ARN to that of your company.

If you have passed the AMFI test and got your ARN number,You have two choices.

1. Be an independent MF adviser and get yourself registered with various AMCs.
2. Be a partner/sub broker of a MF broking house and get yourself registered with
them.
Joining a good MF broking house is always a better option as you get a single point contact and do not have to run around to various AMCs. Also you get certain other facilities like monitoring your client's investment, commisions etc.

Hope your query is resolved.
