Default Is this right time to go for income/gilt funds

With interest at its peak, is this right time to go for income/gilt funds? If so, what return do you expect over 12/18 months?

What income/gilt funds would you pick for investment?

with banks offering 10% interest (1yr FD), recently i have preferred it over other debt avenues in my portfolio (personal choice). other things also count in deciding; like tax implications. i fall in ~15% tax slab.

Check Derivatives fund.

I am tracking ICICI Prudential Equity & Derivatives Fund and it seems to be giving reasonable returns
