Sorry 2 intrupt! But Birla fund u chose is a vry gud fund in itself. It cant be left out even if 'crazy' unless this craziness does some harm to ur portfolio!

Thanks a ton for that information. Why on the whole earth you should be sorry for helping me. Vicky has become a familiar name to me.. because he makes it a point to answer to almost all my queries ... So, I used his name. That does not mean that your opinion along with others does not matter to me. I hold all your valuable opinion very important.

Ok, as you rightly said, it is definitely not harming my portfolio.. Just made it :-). So finally I am deciding to stick and put even funds in SBI Magnum Tax Gain 93 and Birla Sunlife Tax Relief 96.

Expect around 500% (Rs 50 per unit) Dividend around 15-Mar-2008 in this fund.

That is good piece of news. I would like to understand on what basis you said this... just for my knowledge

Ok, for my understanding I hold 93 Units. Dividend is declared on basic price or on current NAV ? Or is it blindly like 93 x 50 = 4650 Rs ??

As far as I understand, Dividend is declared on the no of units you hold.
