Question Switching between Funds of the same AMC

Please advice whether there is exit and re-entry charges for switching between funds of the same AMC.

I like to exit from SBI One India Fund (even though it is a closed fund) and switch to SBI Magnum Contra.

Appreciate responses from fellow investors.

It is case specific. AMCs allow load free switches b/w some particular funds.

Post Expense ratio & Portfolio turnover ratio ?

What the terms like 'Expense ratio' & 'Portfolio turnover ratio' do actually mean in terms of MF? If a fund incepted since jan/02 has a Expense ratio of 2.76% and a Portfolio turnover ratio of 1.74%, what does it actually imply.
One more question plz... how does both impact on the process of choosing a fund to invest apart from evaluating its past performance?

Plz. help me getting insight into this issue by providing your wise views.
