While the above have given good suggestion about funds, the resources you can choose from are MSN Moneycentral and www.marketsimplified.com which provides a great picture about MF, with great charts.

ifci, nagarjuna fertilizers,ttml,ispat industries,dlf, reliance communications, unitec,plethico pharma, paradyne infotech,lic housing are good picks for 1month holding

Hi all

I am new to this thread. I have a doubt. Would anybody can clarrify that one please ....

I appliend online through ICICI for two NFO Mutual fund offer. The amount was deducted and in the order book also the allotment take place.

But I didn't get any physical document about the investment. Will it suffice for getting the benefit of the mutal fund when the locke period is over ?

Pleas clarrify

You can split your investment in any of the 3 top performing fund.

1) Reliance Growth Fund
2) HDFC Top 200 Fund
3) SBI Contra Fund
4) DSP ML Tiger Fund

You might also take a look at
1) HDFC Prudence fund from Balanced fund category.

The mutual funds you have suggested are highly positively correlated in nature and diversifying into these funds would add to the risk profile of the portfolio. A segregation of assets between uncorrelated funds such as equity---debt---money market----derivatives---real estate----pvt equity(which is not very popular in India) etc would be the best solution.
