SBI Magnum Global Fund

Hi

I am new to this forum and also to Mutual funds and all.

Through ICICIdirect, in june 2006 i purcahsed MF of SBI MAGNUM GLOBAL FUND-GROWTH

48.57 units for Rs.15,000.00

Now the Total value at NAV is Rs.23,562.42

Profit - Rs.8562

Should i sell it now?

Or what should i do?

Please let me know.

It is a bullish market right now. Don't sell it unless you are in need of money badly. The value will surely increase more.

also you can book the profit in bull market and re-invest it in the bear market...
regular profit booking will earn more....

Hold The Investment. It Will Give You Good Return. BOOKING OF PROFIT AT THE TIME WHEN MARKET IS UP AND REINVESTING AT THE TIME MARKET IS DOWN WILL COST YOU. THEREFORE HOLD YOU INVESTMENT.

DOnt keep it idle, add some more money man. See you got almost 50% in an year. So add some more money.. (well this may not probably the best time to add some more, but you never know. Always keep adding some money, until some of your objectives (like accumulating up to 1 lack..) is achieved.
