Guys ,

Have you noticed that most funds that have BSE100 as their benchmarks have not met them in two years or barely managed to match that?( which implies if you calculate the entry load the funds are losing out to the benchmarks)

BSE100 index has gained 48% in the past one year!!!!!!!!!!!
The 2 year return of BSE 100 is 44%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vicky,

Why is it so ? If the benchmark index is growing good, the MFs should have been as success with such professional management and expertise.
Then why is it that these MFs are not growing.

Is it because of bad fund managers or their decisions ?

Amit.
