Redemption mode

Hi,

I started subscribing to Principal Child Benefit Fund. In my account statement it has been mentioned as 'Redemption Mode : Warrant'. I have other mutual funds where the redemption is done through direct credit to my bank account. What does the Warrant redemption mode means?

I think it means that on redemption you will receive a payment warrant instead of direct credit to the bank..

I understand that. But my question was, what does the warrant mean?. How do I receive the money.
