I would like park funds for short term. Any idea which type of funds give better returns? Any funds with out or min entry and/or exit loads?

Hi ivgandhi,
Liquid funds seem to be a good option for the short term. HDFC / UTI are some that offer good returns ofcourse there could be better ones but it sure beats the hell of letting the cash laze around in a savings account or your broker if you are not going to be trading for a while. |

I am searching for funds where entry/exit loads are nil or minimum as return in short term investment will be less and if it goes for the load then return may be less than savings account. I will be thankful if someone can point in that direction where net return after loads and probable tax is better than savings account for a period ranging from a month or two.

This site gives you the lowdown on most MF's categorywise. The rest I think can be easily worked out.

Thats the sort of info available at http://mutualfundsindia.com/icon.asp...adline=&views=
I've done a search for hdfc cash management fund here. All others are also available. You just have to go to the fund fact sheet, where entry/exit loads, returns are available. Would that help? |
