Can anyone tell me, how the future of this fund looks like? It has given a 30% dividend on 16th Feb.

Refer http://www.valueresearchonline.com/f...1&objective=20

Magnum Taxgain gave better returns in the last one year
http://www.valueresearchonline.com/f...schemecode=198

If you are already holding kotak taxsaver - its ok. However not recommended for new subscription as there are other ELSS which are performing better.

I am investing some amount in Magnum and need to look for another tax saver fund. I am already invested in HDFC Tax Saver and Franklin Tax Shield since 2003.

Also, If someone can help me, Is it good time to exit Franklin or should I remain invested. This fund has given me moderate returns - comparing with peers - but there is a scope for better returns, as i believe.

As ELSS has a lock-in period of 3 years, we should look into 3 year + returns.

Prudential ICICI Tax plan can be considered

I believe its better to stick to Magnum and HDFC Tax Saver, for tax saving purposes and getting above average returns.
