Hi All,
I have two queries: 1.Can anyone help me in deciding a Equity Tax Saving Fund with Growth Option??????? My investment methodology is SIP (2000-3000 a month) and my strategy is to withdraw entire money after 6 years (when my last installment will complete lockin of 3 years). 2. Right now I am investing in HDFC Tax Saver(G) and Reliance Tax Saver (G)[1000 each a month] Am i investing in right funds???? My investment methodology & investment horizon is the same as explained above. THANX & REGARDS jdk |

This link will give you comparison about various ELSS schemes.
http://news.moneycontrol.com/mf/gain...=ab&option=eqt 1) SBI Magnum Taxgain is by the far way ahead of the rest in terms returns more then 700% returns in 5 years times. It has also give good dividends for past few years. (Its promoted by SBI plus it has 5 star ratings) 2) Fidelity Tax advantage fund is another good fund besides HDFC and Reliance feel free to contact me on email jain_daksh@yahoo.com or tel : 23863633 |

You should also invest some of your money in diversified equity funds, rather than putting all your money in ELSS funds.
Because dividend would be tax free and you can withdraw your investmetns after one year (without any tax cuts). Also note that diversified eq funds perform on par or better than tax saving funds and have better flexibility sri |

Hi Guys,
I am planning to invest 5000/- per month in 5 different ELSS troughs SIP with Growth option. Through my own homework I have sort out some of them: 1. SBI Magnum Taxgain (1000/- pm) 2. Principal Tax Saving Fund (1000/- pm) 3. Fidelity Tax Advantage Fund (1000/- pm) 4. DSPML Tax Saver Fund (1000/- pm) I am still confused about the fifth! Could you guys suggest me on the same and guide whether my selected options are ok or do I have to change something. Regards, sumsin
