How frequently is the portfolio of an MF updated?

I was researching about MFs in general and stumbled across this question: how often do fund managers update the portfolio of an MF? Since the MF's are actively managed, their composition change over time. Are these updates reported anywhere? How to find notes about these updates?

Anyone aware of this stuff?

I think they do it once a month. Every month fund houses publish factsheets and they give fund holding in that. If they do not update then it will be wrong information given in fact sheets which they wont do.....

Thanks for the responses. Yes, the snapshots are updated at the end of every month, but I would think that the updates happen more frequently if required (e.g., lot of volatility in the equities the fund is comprised of).

I guess there is no systematic way to know these updates.
