Pulling Metastock data into excel

Hi all,

thanks for all the great posts on this forum. Just a quick one - I'm using MS 8 and was wondering if there was any way I could pull daily closing price data from .dat files into excel if I gave a ticker in excel? I think I need some kind of dll which indexes the .dat (csv) files? Anyone have such a library?

eg A___________B_____C_____D...
1 =today() Close High Low

2 Infy =what formula should I put in here or is there an add-in required
