The metastock website (www.equis.com) has a list of official plug-ins & add-ons which are listed below:

Nison's Candlesticks Unleashed 06.Performance Systems Plus 07. John Murphy's Chart Pattern Recognition 08. Bollinger Band System 09. AlphOmega Elliot Waves 10. Ice 11. John Bollinger's Bollinger Band Toolkit 12. Walter Bressert's ProfitTrader for Metastock 13. ETS Trading System 14. Trade Oracle If anybody has used any of the above mentioned plug-ins & add-ons, can you please let the users of this forum know how they have performed in your trading. It will greatly help novices like me, and the others here. Also if there are other plug-ins/add-ons that you would like to bring to the notice of the users that are useful, can you please post them in this thread? Thanking you in anticipation.

Trade oracle and performance systems plus is a must have. Adaptick and power pivots are somewhat useful to own. Profit Trader, ETS, Chart pattern recognition, strategic trading edge, bollinger bands and adaptive trading solutions are useless (Save your money). I don't know about Dr.Elder's Trading room and FX Trading Solutions.

The original version of Trade Oracle costs 699 $ US. You can get it from TSA group,Paritech, or from Equis themselves. You would not be needing Performance Systems plus if you have Trade Oracle, since TO is exhaustive.

How is it overall performance and analysis made by this software? How do you rate this software out of 10 ? is it better comparison with Metastock and Amibroker ? lots of question are there...........hope you will answer all. Thanks Softtouch. Quote:

My experience has been good. I should rate it 5/10 (Out of 90 trading systems, only 10 are worthwhile to talk about and very effective). Ask for a demonstration before purchase.

Sorry for the late reply, softtouch,
Performance system addon for metastock is very informative. It has about 54 trading systems and 35-36 systems are distinct from oneanother. They are fully disclosed and are no blackboxs (unlike RMO). Besides, they are writen in simple metastock coding and do not involve complex formulas... Also, their systems, unlike PP+, statistcal trader, John Murphy's CPR,Alphomega etc, don't cheat!! A few concepts which I find useful: 1) PS bullpower bear power 2) PS pattern trading system 2 and 3 3) PS Stochastic RSI Oxy
