There was some problem with settings in some other software to correct which, I restored windows to earlier saved point (just to a previous working day). After that, all other softwares including Metastock are working ok except whenever I right click on any chart, Metastock gives error as shown in the enclosed picture. If I select some candlestick pattern or MA in the chart and right-click, it does not give any error (another picture is enclosed). This is something funny but now, I cannot use the context menu by right-clicking.
I have MetaStock Professional ver.7.2. Any solution ? Regards, Abhay (AAD) Last edited by aad; 12th September 2006 at 12:55 AM. |

Try to repair Metastock by running the installer CD again and choosing repair option . It will restore the settings .Otherwise you have to do full install. When you are doing system restore , never touch the registry. Want to cleanup otherwise, use regcleaner utility to do that. Moral of the story is that never twick the registry manually unless you know what you are doing and that is unlikely in 90% of cases even with Microsoft people ![]() Pankaj

Once a German, a Japanese and a Microsoft engineers were travelling in a car which suddenly stopped. The German said "Let me check the engine. You know, we are the brains behind best engines in the world. So I will surely fix the problem". The Japanese said "I will check its electronic fuel ignition system. I can surely find out if there is a problem with that". Now it was the turn of Microsoft engineer. He said "I know the way out. It has worked most of the times with us. Lets open the car-doors, get out of the car, again get in and close the doors. The car has to start".... Regards, Abhay (AAD) |
