file conversion in MS

I am here for the first time. And I am very happy to meet all of you.
I request any one of u that please solve my problem. I loaded metastock software but I dont know how to convert csv file into meta file. Please give me guidance to convert file easily.

You can convert csv file into metastock formate with the help of DOWNLOADER install with Metastock. You can read help file for more information.

From which data source u want to procure ? If it is directly from NSE then the process is complicated & difficult to understand for some one new to Metastock.If it is from data vendor then call them,i believe u want it directly from NSE/BSE then go through Downloader & try to understand the formats
CSV/ASCII/Computrac.Some basic knowledge is reqd.Plz do it there is no point paying the data vendors,moreover they sent the datas late,leave aside
those disguised forum member representative of data vendors.
