Proxy, Firewalls and TA Softwares !!
Dear Friends,
I am behind a proxy and 4 firewalls (something similar to Pentagon !!). I have an authorised Login and password for opening internet explorer. We use port 8080 for http. I have Metastock 9.0 and Hyperserver Lite. But my firewalls do not allow me to bypass. Also, hyperserver does not work behind proxies and is therefore an "old" software ! I also have Amibroker, AmiQuote and Eagle Eye. Same problem ! No live data and live charts ! I hve tried Datafetchers software - FetchfromYahoo - trial version but it does not get installed here despite downloading various .net extensions. However, Quote Tracker is able to start here and gives me live charts sourced from NSEINDIA. Now the Questions: 1. How to configure Quotetracker with Amibroker or metastock ? 2. Is there an alternative like OLE, Excel to MEtastock solution for starting metastock here ? 3. I am able to get live data in excel. How to save such data in excel without overwriting and also how to use it for metastock / amibroker. I am desperate to start either metastock or amibroker or alternately, few TA plugins for Quote Tracker so that it becomes more powerful like metastock ! Thanks for your time ! reg ketan

Excel to Metastock - intraday data
Intraday Data - very important
still looking for the following: I am able to get live data from NSEindia.com in excel using web query. But How to save / chart such data in excel without overwriting and more, importantly - how to use it for metastock / amibroker. I have tried a utility called DDEChartUpdater which connects excel to metastock, but i did not get a key for it.... anyone has made a utility for excel to metastock like cooltetra has made ?? (he has made excel to amibroker). Hyperserver is now paid so no point installing it. reg ketan
