You can run the same exploration on the daily database to get weekly results. All you have to do is to highlight the exploration on "The Explorer", click on the "Edit" button, Click on "Options" and change the exploration periodicity to weekly.

1st of all in your code's 1st line there has to be a comma before and after 9 like it is in 2nd line.Regarding Weekly closing ,since long i am suffering with the same problem.Whenever there is trading in Sat or Sun this problem surfaces.Time & again i have complained to Metastock people & they say this is due to bad quality data input(becoz they know i do not subscribe to a paid Data Vendor since long),but i am sure this is an inherent problem with "Exploration".For Chart window MS has a provision of "Ignore Week End Data" ,which when unticked ,will not recognize week end data, like wise after persistent follow up ,Equis may include that "Ignore Week End Data" in Exploration from their forth comming version. Now to solve your problem ,you may incorporate "Roy Larsen's Weekly Close on Daily Data" .I am using his code since long.It is a long code & moreover it requires "Jose Silva's Week End Data" as a prerequisite ,hence i am unable to provide you,but you will get it in many websites. Sorry i confused it with my problem .In my case even putting in Weekly mode the values dont match.Say a simple RSI (not using any of function like ;PREV )on chart it says 22 in Exploration it typically gives earlier day's value.Though my chart & Exploration has same no of 5000 datas. Bjj's problem is different than mine i am sorry if i have confused others with my confusion. Regards Asish |

Hi Ashish
I think you are using MS 8.0 or 9.0 . Try lower VER.. then 8.0 to solve weekend data problem in exploration . I am using MS VER. 7.0 . I hope this will solve your problem . Harish Chheda |
