Hello Soumya,

If I import EOD and find out that the data imported is wrong, then If the correct data is re-imported, it does not get reflected/overwritten.

Could you tell how to get rid of wrong imported data?

hi shantanu10,

to get rid of this problem u will have to delete this data.
to delete follow the steps :
1. open Quoteman
2. Tools->Securities administration
3. Quote management-> Delete quotes
now delete data as u wish -> datewise or valuewise or intraday or eod

Hi Soumya,

Thanks for all your painstaking efforts. I have imported Nifty intraday data and started working on TA. Hopefully soon I should be able to test it advanced features like backtesting.

I wanted to know where can I get NIFTY intraday data on daily basis.

Dear Soumya

I have downloaded the main & script file but unable to get
Update file from BSE-NSE2005 yahoo group as it is not there. (in which folder in this group)

Further I do not know how to set up the favorite symbol list, How to import the eod data files for a period of say for 30 days etc.

Will u please tell me in details how to set up the software because last few days I am trying it.
I am presently using Fcharts but free version has limited options so like to switch over to Fibotrdaer.

->bse-nse2005 provides it everyday.

->goto Files->00-STOCKS DATA FILES.

Open Explorar-> right click on 'Symbol' folder->New folder.

For 'Import' read my post no. 23. u will have to import eod files one
by one. i think, after using 1 1/2 years, it is the biggest drawback
of Fibotrader.

Hi Soumya,

I am amazed by your persistent efforts at clearing doubts in the forum. Kudos to you for having found and tried out this software. You are a true trend setter in that regard.

I was able to successfully install and configure Fibotrader. I am a beginner when it comes to TA and was using Fcharts in the past. Fibotrader is definitely more useful and powerful. Configuring it was not an issue as i already had historical data in the Fcharts folder and i simply imported it into Fibotrader. One thing i liked about Fibotrader is the amazing gamut of options it offers to the trader. There is simply nothing you cant configure or tweak around.

Hi Sowmya

Does Fibotrader has live intraday chart analysis feature. I am using QuoteTracker which is free software, for day trading. But Qoutetracker allows only 2 days of intraday data, in its free version. I want to know whether Fibotrader allows to view unlimited days for intraday data.

Dear Rajesh,

At this point of time Fibotrader has no live intraday feature.
in Fibotrader u can store unlimited data. there is no constrain.
would u please tell me, where Qoutetracker saves its data i.e. is it
.csv or .txt.
