I want MACD HISTOGRAM DIVERGENCE SYSTEM TESTER IN METASTOCK

Dear All Members & Trader Ji,

I have metastock pro 7.0 version. I need to know the system tester & expert system tester formulaes for the MACD DIVERGENCE BUY VOLATILITY for following type of exploration. In the exploration i have following exploration formulae for MACD DIVERGENCE buy volatility:
Col A:

md := MACD();

mdhist := md - Mov(md,9,E);

Correl(((Sum(Cum(1)*( mdhist ),100))-(Sum(Cum(1),100)*

Sum(( mdhist ),100)/100))/((Sum(Power(Cum(1),2),100))-

(Power(Sum(Cum(1),100),2)/100)),((Sum(Cum(1)*C,100))-(Sum(Cum(1),100)*

Sum(C,100)/100))/((Sum(Power(Cum(1),2),100))-(Power(Sum(Cum(1),100),2)/100)

),12,0)

Col B:

H > Ref(C,-1) + 1.8 * Ref( ATR(10),-1)

Col C:

V > 1.1 * Ref( Mov(V,10,E),-1)

Filter:

colA AND colB AND colC AND colA <-0.80

MY clear question is that I want to know the "system tester formulae or expert commentary tester formuale" for exploration that I mentioned on top of this post.

Debraj had just copied the explration formulae that i wrote already.. Kindly tell me in what system tester columns of metastock 7.0 pro i have to type so I can get the desired results?

Hi Paras,

If instead of jumping to conclusions you had politely conveyed your lack of understanding I would have cleared up your confusion long ago.

As Traderji have said, I have given you the indicator for the system tester. If you are using this exploration to find long candidates, put this formula in the Enter Long column of the system tester.

In your first post you also requested for the "expert system tester" formula. Later you asked for "expert commentary tester" formuala. These expressions are misnomers. I assume you are asking for expert symbols. Use this same formula to create them.

Dear Debraj Ji,

I aplogise for my mistake of jumping to conclusions myself. Iam really very Sorry sir. You are very right I have lack of understanding.

So kindly guide me step by step what to type in which column(s) of system tester & then what to type in which column(s) of Expert advisor with commentatory again clearly exactly?

Also one thing more, your above mentioned formulae i pasted in system tester but it's not giving right signals really that exploration gave me on that same day? So kindly pls. recheck it, as my purpose is to reconfirm the buy signals generated by exploration with system tester also & then check what expert advisor has to say about it. Hope you understand my query in detail now.

Hi Paras,

No "sir" or "Ji". Just call me Debraj, plain and simple. We are all learners here.

I was unable to duplicate your problems. The indicator is working as it should. There are no discrepancies between system tester and exploration/expert symbols. It is hard to say exactly what is wrong on the basis of so very little deatil supplied but there can be several reasons why there are problems at your end:

1) I hope you have put an exit formaula in the Close Long tab of system tester. Or alternatively activated one (or more) Stops.

2) Check the periodicity of your exploration and chart. Do they tally? What is the date of the exploration? Have you loaded a minimum of 500 bars?

3) Have you delayed Entry in the system tester?

4) Finally, have you typed in or copy-pasted the indicator exactly as it is written here?

As for the expert commentary, what exactly, based on your exploration formula, do you want it to tell you? kindly be specific.
