Metastock 9 Crashes on Data Loading

Hi,

MS 9 crashes as soon as i load a data file, also the directory is locked by ms, how do i get around this prob.

This has cropped up suddenly, it was fine till yesterday.

Pls i need help urgently, thanks a lot

Hey ! I just saw this now ! I thought I could help you with this if your still there or someone else who has this same problem.

I had the same problem today, and i went to the Folder where the files are stored and then deleted the files with a ~ in the front .

Hope it helps someone atleast !:D

You are correct arun, that is one of the most common problems in MS.
Some of the causes can be having MS and another program reading the same data folder at the same time or having a data folder in use when the data is being updated.
