Convert ***** .CSV file to Metastock format
Hi,
I am trying to convert ***** finance .CSV file to Metastock format through Metastock downloader. Can anyone guide me on how to do this conversion? Regards, Sarit

In one of the thread of ou Traderji I have found the following link for download EOD data for Metastock in converted form .Use that..(http://www.traderji.com/end-day/2015...08-a.html)till then check this this works... Installation -Download and install .Net framework 3.5 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en. -Make sure that the main executable is added to the list of files allowed to connect to Internet in Firewall application. -Run "NSEBSE EOD downloader.exe" to use the application. Initial settings -Click on "Settings". -Specify a directory where all the downloaded ASCII files will be placed. -Enter following text in "NSE EOD format" text box. http://www.nseindia.com/content/historical/EQUITIES/[yyyy]/[MMM]/cm[dd][MMM][yyyy]bhav.csv - Click "OK" Usage: To Download Todays EOD data: - After the trading hour, Click on EOD in the main app and then click on Download. To Download EOD for a period (for Ex: Dec 01 2007 to Jan 01 2007) - Select Starting and End date in Download dialog and then click download. But ur explanation is not clear, could u explain once more to convert particular dates EOD data to meta stock data

You can covert any csv files to Metastock format (if the Headers are in right Array as MS understands) through Downloader of Metastock,in the Source file put ASCII & in destination Metastock Format & in Options mark Daily for EoD or 1min for Intraday.
