Does the unit of time period in pop up window change to day, week, month etc. if we change the chart view from day to week to month?

What Pop up window are we talking about!? It wasnt very clear to me.

When we click Insert-Indicator (say moving average)one window comes up where we can specify the time period, colour of the moving average line etc.

1. Face value split from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 06/-

2. Right issue of 2 for 5 at 140/- (karurvysya on 16/02/2011)

No, it does not. The pop up window specifies the number of bars in case of Moving Average.. say you are plotting a 20 period moving average, you just specify 20 and it is neither day, week or month. After you plot it and change the time period of the chart the MA will display values for Day Week or Month as specified by you in Chart Display. The value of the MA is as per previous 20 bars including the current bar... if the chart is hourly, MA will be for last 20 hourly bars.

how can i view weekly and monthly charts of a stock in metastock....please help me out...by default it is showing daily chart only...how can i view ATR of a stock or index ...Seniors please help me out....
