Default MetaStock (r) Command Line Data Conversion Utilities

Hi anybody succesfully used this utility.
I am trying to use it get and update BSE data.
But i am not able to do so.
I am trying to convert "*.csv" files downloaded each day from bse-nse2005 ***** group and convert it into EOD metastock files and than convert this to ascii to view it in some software.
What it does is not able tp create ticker and ticker name for each row in CSV.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi,
Command line utility offers more featuers than equis downloder/converter.But
it is somewhat difficult to use.
I request all members having programing ability, describe step by step procedure, as help file doesn't reveal much more for most of us.

MS Downloader --> Convert --->ASCII---> "Search for all types of files" ---> choose the data source and destination and convert

Make sure you enter the 1st date. I used to extract data from there and it works like a charm. The data quality is questionable however.
Follow the instructions given by them. It usually comes through mail when you register.
